TAG QUESTION

Ø São pequenas perguntas colocadas no final das orações, para pedir uma informação ou uma confirmação do que foi dito.

Ø CARACTERÍSTICAS GERAIS.

• oração afirmativa: a tag question será negativa (forma abreviada)

• oração negativa: a tag question será afirmativa

• vem sempre após a vírgula

• é sempre formada por um verbo auxiliar e um pronome (pois não posso colocar nomes)

OBS: Não usa-se o not também, tem que ser a forma abreviada.

EX 01	Vitória is working, isn´t she?
EX 02	Maíra isn´t working, is she?
EX 03	Manoel will come tomorrow, won´t he (forma negativa de will)?
EX 04	Manoel will not come tomorrow, will he?
EX 05	They work here, don´t they?
EX 06	They don´t work here, do they?
EX 07	You are beautiful, aren´t you?
EX 08	She isn´t ugly, is she?
EX 09	I am not……., am I?
EX 10	I am……., aren´t I?
EX 11	Peter ate (verbo no Past Tense) hot dog, didn´t (verbo auxiliar do Past Tense) he?
